New Research from AERDF and ETS Reveals Decoding Threshold is a Key Barrier to Reading Proficiency in Older K-12 Students

PROGRAMS

EF+Math funds teams of educators, researchers, and developers to develop innovative math learning methods. These approaches center on affirming the brilliance of Black, Latinx, and all students experiencing poverty while improving outcomes in real classrooms.

Our North Star

We create approaches to challenge the way people think about how students learn. We want every student to know their innate abilities, know how to use them to take control of their own learning, and be given every opportunity to learn rigorous math.

Our Goal

EF+Math’s goal is to dramatically improve math outcomes for students in grades 3-8, particularly Black and Latinx students and students experiencing poverty, by strengthening the core assets every student has: executive function (EF) skills.

Our Approach

EF+Math supports teams of educators, researchers, and developers in developing math learning approaches using inclusive R&D processes.
