New Research from AERDF and ETS Reveals Decoding Threshold is a Key Barrier to Reading Proficiency in Older K-12 Students

Jen is the Senior Manager of Implementation for Assessment for Good. In her current role, Jen supports the program’s strategy and execution for UX/UI testing and implementation, working with a cross-functional team and community partners to learn how to support and improve the learning experience. With more than 15 years of experience in the education and ed tech software spaces, she is dedicated to equitable education. Before joining the AFG team, she served as lead for enterprise partners at Ellevation Education, supporting onboarding, launching implementation, and driving adoption and engagement strategies for some of the nation’s largest and most complex school districts. She uses her deep expertise and experience in both customer success and the educational landscape to build meaningful relationships, and collaborate with schools to improve the learning experience. Jen taught Newcomers and English at a Title I middle school for over seven years. She led compliance and program requirements, and professional development at the school and central office levels as the EL Coordinator for Secondary. Jen graduated from Texas A&M University and earned her M.Ed. from Stephen F. Austin. She lives in east Dallas with her family.
