Fernanda Shin

Senior UX Designer and Researcher

Fernanda Shin serves as the Senior UX Designer and Researcher for Assessment for Good. She has over 7 years of experience working in both the ed-tech and health-tech industries. Prior to joining AERDF, Fernanda worked as a Lead UX Designer for a product called Beacon, a student suicide prevention tool used by school staff. She also worked at WPS where she was the first UX hire leading end to end UX cycles, advocating UX across all departments, and improving an assessment platform used by practitioners and patients. At McGraw-Hill Education, Fernanda focused on improving UX across products used by school admins, teachers, and students.

Fernanda holds a Master of Arts in Interactive Media at the University of Arts London and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Graphics at the Art Center College of Design.
