Educator Leadership Council Chair

Debbra Lindo is Superintendent in Residence for the EF + Math Program. She chairs the Educator Leadership Council. She has been a teacher and administrator in urban, suburban, public and private settings. As Superintendent in Emery Unified School District, she led the development of its Full Service Community Schools initiative. She managed secondary schools in Palo Alto USD, served as CEO of College Track and designed the program’s scaling model. Lindo led school turnaround efforts in Oakland USD. She also served as EVP of Educational Services for ViaNovus, Inc., a construction management software company. She has served on State and National School Task Forces for Departments of Education. She has received numerous awards and recognition. She is a graduate of Oakland High School, holds a BA Mills College, and an MA from Stanford University’s School of Education. She also holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s College.
