Sukhminder Kaur considers herself fortunate to be part of the LiberatED Collaborative as a Research Associate because she gets to work on many of the areas that are close to her heart: children and adolescent development, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and racial justice. For her dissertation, she investigated the association between early adolescent drug use and social and emotional competence using meta-analysis.
