New Research from AERDF and ETS Reveals Decoding Threshold is a Key Barrier to Reading Proficiency in Older K-12 Students

Ramya serves as the Director of Strategy for Assessment for Good. She has over ten years of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors spanning roles in product development, research, policy, and organizational strategy.

Prior to joining the Assessment For Good team, she was the Managing Director of Product at PowerMyLearning where she rebuilt a culturally responsive K-2 math tool called Family Playlists that leveraged the power of learning by teaching. Ramya also served as the Director of the MAF Lab, an R&D team within the nonprofit Mission Asset Fund (MAF) where she launched digital products to financially empower families. Ramya brings deep expertise in community-centered design that focuses on co-creating products with communities instead of for them.

Ramya holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and English Literature from Swarthmore College.
