Gabriela Rivera is the R&D Partnerships Manager for EF+Math. She leads EF+Math’s equity based and human-centered approach to understanding program impact and supports the management of funded R&D teams. She is a recent graduate from Princeton University with a degree in Anthropology and certificates in Global Health and Health Policy and Latin American Studies. While at Princeton, Gabriela greatly enjoyed opportunities to meaningfully engage with the community through education-related initiatives, including as a teacher and project leader for a student-run adult ESL program. Her research experience includes original ethnographic work in Humacao, Puerto Rico, which served as the basis for her senior thesis project on the transformative power of community-based responses in the aftermath of Hurricane María. Gabriela lives in Arlington, Massachusetts.
